A great night in Truckee!

Aspiring aviation leaders met with aviation executives at the Truckee Tahoe Aviation Networking Night.

The Truckee Tahoe Airport terminal was the ideal setting for last night's big aviation networking night. Ten students met with aviation executives in a structured networking format, allowing everyone to spend quality conversation time with each other.

Big thanks to Kevin Smith and Katie Greenwood of the Truckee Tahoe Airport for hosting the program and opening the airport's doors to our Futures in Aerospace program.

Six students were recognized for their participation in the career mentoring program. Each received scholarship awards.

  • Summer Benjamin - Freshman at Tahoe Expedition Academy
  • Logan Burley - Junior at Truckee High School
  • Sam DeRuse - Junior at Bishop Manogue High School
  • Devon Schnoor - Freshman at North Tahoe High School

The following two students were recognized for going above and beyond with their involvement. These two outstanding students were:

  • Logan Bates - Sophomore at Truckee High School
  • Preston Parrish - Sophomore at Truckee High School

It was an amazing evening of meeting leaders and building life-long relationships!
