Networking opens many doors. For career-minded students, it could make the difference between a part-time job and one that launches an amazing career.
On Wednesday, April 26, the third session of the Nevada Aviation Careers initiative will focus on networking. Local high school and college students will learn why networking is vital to their careers. The discussion will then move towards networking's best practices.
Upon completion of the learning-based workshop, students will practice their new skills with aviation and business leaders for an extended period of time.
It'll be a great opportunity for students to better understand first impressions, body language, and 30-second elevator pitches. They'll receive great feedback from the leaders, as well as establish professional networks. Some may even walk away with a job interview.
