Reno Flight Plan 2019 - Career Workshop #2

Due to weather, the previously scheduled February 5th event, is now scheduled for Tuesday, February 12.

Attend an aviation industry speaking event, which doubles as a career-planning workshop for high school and college students. Each workshop features presentations by aviation executives, who will share their experiences, descriptions of their company specialties, overviews of hiring practices, and career-focused advice. In addition to the presentations, students will receive career planning best practices, such as skills identification, resume writing, interviewing tips, and networking instruction. The goal is for students to be equipped with the career readiness skills needed to pursue employment and/or post-secondary education.

Topics for workshop #2 - soft skills, hard skills, career interests

Students participating at the workshop will earn points toward a special Futures in Aerospace scholarship.
