The students and faculty were incredible during today's Career Day at Lincoln Park Elementary School in Sparks, Nevada!
Alert and attentive students learned about ways to pursue careers in the wide world of aviation. Lively discussions took place about the many different jobs in the industry and the types of classes students should take in elementary, middle, and high school.
In addition to watching a video produced by the ISTAT Foundation and AOPA, the students made straw airplanes to learn more about flight and understand the various tasks involved with designing and building aircraft.
A big thank you to the Lincoln Park administration for the invitation to participate in Career Day!
