What a night!

The 9th Annual Speakers' Forum may have been the most incredible evening in the history of Pathways to Aviation!

A record attendance enjoyed remarks made from outstanding aviation experts and leaders.

Held on the University of Nevada campus, well over 200 guests visited with leaders of inspiring businesses and non-profit organizations during the one-hour exhibit, taking place just before the main program. It was here where they saw the latest in drone technology, space exploration, student initiatives, and experiential programs...all aimed at enhance and creating pathways of aviation excellence throughout the state of Nevada.

The main program was just as exceptional, where four leaders enlightened the audience with great information. Special thanks to the following friends and amazing presenters:

  • Mike Crowell, CEO of the Reno Air Racing Association
  • Dave Crowther, Director of the Raggio Research Center for STEM Education at the University of Nevada
  • Marily Mora, CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority

Through their knowledge and inspiration, these three leaders set the stage for our keynote speaker, Captain Kevin Mannix. Nix wowed the audience with stories and videos of his days as Commander of the Blue Angels.

The focus of the evening was the enhanced vision of Pathways to Aviation. For years, the mission and vision emphasized youth education and historical preservation. Through presentations made by Eric Henry, Pathways' board chair, and Pete Parker, its executive director, the attendees learned how the organization is successfully galvanizing aviation leaders to inform, inspire, and engage aviation's next generation. It's all about creating exciting pathways to aviation careers.

Thank you to everyone who attended the incredible evening of aviation brilliance! Enjoy a few photos from the evening.
