What's in store for 2019?

Big things are in store for Pathways to Aviation during the 2019 calendar year!

We are excited and prepared for greater involvement, generosity, and life-changing opportunities throughout all of 2019.

New relationships, new students, new opportunities, new locations, and even greater impact!

Our goals for 2019 are lofty, but within reach!

  • Expanding the number of Futures in Aerospace locations by adding the Carson Airport. Continuing on the journey will be the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the Truckee Tahoe Airport.
  • Nearly tripling the number of students receiving our career mentoring guidance! We aim to provide guidance to 200 high school and college students. We'll do this through 12 career planning workshops, many one-on-one mentoring hours, hundreds of resume reviews, and countless email and phone exchanges.
  • Participating in career fairs, presentations, mock interviews, and special days with 10 high schools and colleges. This will be an increase from six during the 2018 calendar year.
  • Increasing our scholarship award support from 10 (in 2018) to 15 students, at greater financial levels.
  • Exceeding the financial support of our K-8 and Futures in Aerospace programs, enabling us to reach every student in northern Nevada and the Sierras.
  • Recruiting speakers and networking participants from 75% of all aerospace companies in northern Nevada and the Sierras.

Pathways to Aviation may be a small organization, compared to many others, but we operate on a tight budget, so that the most of every dollar directly impacts a student. Our success is achieved through the financial support and leadership assistance of many.

We'd love to have you join our family to make a difference in the lives of many students AND the area's aerospace industry growth by...

Whichever you choose, we're fortunate to have you on board for this incredible life- and industry-changing journey!
